Come visit the farm!

Come visit and see for yourself! Guided tours are available by appointment. Sign up here (by appointment only!)
Our 35 acre property, nestled in the heart of dairy land in Pewaukee, Wisconsin is comprised of various barns and buildings, a residence, vegetable fields, wooded trails, and was an active dairy farm until 2013. Most of the original barns are on site and we have retrofitted them to meet our current needs.
As you walk around the grounds, you will see a blend of old and new. While it was important to make the farm fit our needs and the needs of our residents, it was also important to us to ensure the history of farming on this property does not get lost. So we have repurposed, restored and reenergized this old farm!
We welcome all ages and abilities to visit the farm. Please note that this is a working sanctuary and also a personal residence for some. Please do not show up without an appointment or booking through one of our programs.
We are located at:

Do you have an animal you are looking to surrender?
Please email us details.
NEVER LEAVE A PET AT OUR DOORS.
You will be putting your pets as well as our current animal residents at risk by doing so.
We do not have the capabilities to quarantine and take all types of animals.
Our selection process is very purposeful and we are not large enough to accept all animals.
Getting ready to come out to the farm?
Whether you are taking a class tour, a private tour, working as a volunteer or joining us for an event, here are some quick guidelines we would like you know!
- DO wear close-toed shoes that you don’t mind getting muddy.
- DO Dress in comfortable clothing for the weather, layering is suggested.
- DO minimize dangling jewelry and sweatshirt strings…goats and horses as well as many other animals sometimes see these as toys- and will be happy to pull your necklace or earring off! Ouch!
- DO drive safely and SLOWLY down our drive. Animals are often freely roaming and children are often present.
- DO stop and check in at the reception before approaching any animal enclosures.
- DO bring snacks, water if you need them for your visit. We do not currently offer these.
- DO take lots of pictures and post and tag us on social media.
- DON’T feed the animals unless instructed by your tour guide to do so.
- DON’T expect to pet every or any animal. Our animal residents can decide if they would like to interact. Sometimes, they would rather not.
- DON’T cuss, yell or use any derogatory terms on our property. We are not about that. All are welcome here and niceness is a rule, not an option
- DON’T discuss politics…we are a politics-free zone.
- DON’T bring any weapons onto the grounds.
Our rules are simple when you use common sense. Be kind, follow the rules, and stay safe….and enjoy!
