Caramel Corn
Caramel Corn was brought to the local Philadelphia Animal Shelter on December 23rd, 2025 after she was found lying on someone's porch and appeared injured. She appeared to have a healed Radius and Ulna fracture. She had an urgent plea for rescue as she was at risk for euthanasia due to her medical needs. We quickly called our partners at The Cat Collaborative in Philadelphia and they pulled her the day after Christmas when the shelter re opened.
She is currently being assessed by their medical specialists to decide whether the leg can be saved or if amputation is her best solution. We will always do whatever is best for the animal, no matter the cost.
She is currently presenting very sweet, calm and seems comfortable but not really weight bearing on that leg. Once her medical plan is established she will be transported to Cold Noses Sanctuary!
